中秋节英语日记-收玉米 Harvest corn

Today is the Mid Autumn Festival. It's cloudy and light. After breakfast, I walk back to my grandma's house with my parents in an excited mood.

今天是中秋节，天高云淡，吃过早饭，我怀着激动的心情和爸爸妈妈走在回奶奶家的路上。

Along the way, I saw a golden field in the distance, and a few yellow leaves fell down the road like a flying butterfly.

一路上，我看到远处的田野一片金黄，路边时而飘落几片黄树叶像一只只飞舞的蝴蝶。

When we got to grandma's house, dad asked me and him to go to the corn field to find grandma. Grandma collects corn there. We soon found grandma, and my father and I immediately joined in breaking corn. My father told me the use of corn and what sorghum is. After careful observation, I found that sorghum is really like a bunch of burning torches. My father told me that red seed is sorghum. Looking at these red particles, it's like a smiling face. Let people look happy, no wonder to hear adults say that "labor is hard, harvest is joy."

到了奶奶家，爸爸让我和他到玉米地去找奶奶。奶奶在那里收玉米。我们很快找到了奶奶，我和爸爸也立即加入了掰玉米的行列。爸爸告诉我玉米的用处，又告诉我什么是高粱，我仔细观察，发现高粱还真像一束束燃烧的火把。爸爸告诉我那一粒粒红色的种子就是高粱。看着这些红红的小颗粒，真像一张张笑脸。让人看着都高兴，难怪听大人们说“劳动是辛苦的，收获是喜悦的。”

Although I am hot and tired today, I feel very happy because I feel the joy of harvest. Isn't learning the same? Do not pay, will not experience the joy of harvest.

虽然我今天又热又累，但我觉得很开心，因为我感受到了收获的喜悦。学习不也是一样吗?不付出，是不会体会到收获的喜悦的。
